Dr. Kellie Tolin is board certified in Psychiatry and has been in practice since 2002. A native of Arkansas, Dr. Tolin earned her B.A. in Biology from Hendrix College in Arkansas in 1994. She earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in 1998. Dr. Tolin completed her residency in Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2002. After completing her residency, Dr. Tolin served in the United States Air Force from 2002-2006 as the Medical Director of the Mental Health Clinic at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada practicing both inpatient and outpatient care as well as serving as a forensic consultant. Following her Air Force service, Dr. Tolin relocated to North Carolina in 2006 and has been in private practice since that time. In addition to her TMS Therapy services, Dr. Tolin is currently providing medication management and psychotherapy at Wake Psychiatry, an outpatient private practice she started in 2011. She is a Fellow with the American Psychiatric Association and NC Psychiatric Association.
Special areas of interest include treatment resistant depression, mental illness and chronic disease, and women’s mental health/reproductive psychiatry.
